As the time draws nigh glooming a cloud,
A dread beyond of I know not what darkens me.
First of all, poetry can kiss my ass. Especially poetry from that crapbag Walt Whitman. However, I gotta give ol' Walt big ups for this one. My time draws nigh... hah. Unemployment. I wonder if I can actually collect unemployment. I'd google it, but I'm at work, you know. I don't want to give them the satisfaction. Then again, they do know that I google things like "microwave wet sock fire" and "grapes wine ferment at home."
So, I've essentially exhausted all my possible employment options at the moment short of food service or retail (which are next). I'm bummed, but I'm feeling okay, and here's why!
Dear Reader(s), just for YOU, I am going to begin a project called "Katie's Time Off." It's gonna be a documentary of my days of unemployment. Photos. Writings. It's gonna be....hilarious. Oh, and completely pathetic. Seriously, it'll be such a big ego boost for all of you that you are NOT watching the Price is Right and eating Spaghettios out of the can every day. Strap yourself in for a round of monotony!
I think this is a great idea. It'll keep me occupied (or maybe I should occupy myself by searching for a job). Plus if I go insane, there will be a well-kept record of it, and everyone knows those memoirs sell like hotcakes. Forreal. Stay tuned.
PS, anyone who wants to be in my documentary, all you have to do is hang out with me. I can see this getting kinda lonely.

Dude, we've got that sick new blog now, though, so we can fill up our afternoons with working on that instead of trying to find new jobs.
