I know I talk and write a lot about the weirdness that takes over your life in your twenties. But I think I've figured out one of the ultimate contradictions that comes along with this era of your life.
Weekends: I am so glad I own a digital camera now, because it allows me to track my movements throughout the course of the night. No more do I wake up and reach into my purse for my cell phone to see who I called or texted, hoping for a clue of where I was. I merely flip on my trusty Polaroid IZone. "Oh, yeah! I do remember wearing that sombrero!" or "Oh man, (insert name here) was there? Crazy!"
Technology. I hate it most of the time, but it certainly helps with blackouts.
Weeknights: Last night Robbo and I rented "Spellbound," a documentary about the national spelling bee.
Yeah, that's right. A documentary about foreign children spelling long words. Then we decided we were just too exhausted to watch something so stimulating. Seriously. We went to bed instead, to the sounds of my roommate and her boyfriend playing Scrabble in the next room. It was like an evening at the Retirement Village.
I mean, what's up with that?

Your weeks sound way more exciting than mine retirement village or not.
And I totally agree with the camera helping to stimulate memories of the random events!
